Hyatt Place Atlanta / Centennial Park

Good overall for the category. Highlights are location, the breakfast and the gym. 4-star rating because of the bathroom (see below, and the hotel is not cheap). Location: You are a few steps from the attractions - Coca-Cola World, aquarium, museums, etc., and the convention center. Rooms: very spacious and have good upkeep, except for the bathroom that needs attention with wallpaper coming off the walls, towel racks wobbly, and random holes. The gym is excellent: modern life-fitness equipment: spinning bike, recliner bike, four treadmills, two ellipticals, two benches, weights, medicine balls, and mats. Breakfast: impressive. Despite being fully booked, the breakfast is good, and the staff continuously replenishes the buffet, including rare items, such as strawberries, that you would struggle to find at higher-category hotels. Service: very good for the category: attentive, helpful staff. Parking: The only option is valet that turned out to be fine since the staff is very friendly and brings the car out in an instant (though it would be much easier to self-park)

I loved my stay here! It was in walking distance to the aquarium and other attractions. We had the best and cleanest room and they even provided service. Unfortunately, there was a group of loud teenagers next door to us and the hotel was so kind and helpful to ask them to quiet down. As a housekeeping manager I recommended this place especially because they had amazing breakfast.

My family booked 2 rooms in November. Upon arrival the staff was extremely friendly and answered all questions and gave some good local recommendations. The hotel was very clean, comfy beds, immaculate bathrooms. The L shaped sofas made it much easier us having 4-5 people in each room. The valet parking was a nice bonus. We went for s family trip to the Aquarium and it's right across the street and a very short walk to the Olympic Park. Highly recommend this hotel!!

Visited over the weekend, great hotel only if you are exclusively in downtown for a purpose. If going to aquarium and coca cola, then this is perfect as hotel is behind the aquarium. Room was big and spacious, they have extra security which is needed due to sketchy people walking around in downtown. Decent bfast included. Asked housekeeping for an extra towel and pillow as she was in the room next door cleaning and when I knocked on the door she looked upset as if I woke her up from her nap where the TV was running loudly. Then she was dragging her feet too go check for the items. Haven't seen housekeeping with an attitude in a long time. As i had to ask for another item and she got it, but you could see the lack of motivation in her. Parking overnight is valet at $45/ night. There was a marathon occurring on Sunday and when I inquired about it at the front desk the employee had no idea what streets were blocked. The hotel owner or manager should've told the front desk if guests are checking in and then out on the day of the marathon to advise guests to leave a bit earlier or post a sign. The employee was clueless at the front and then trying to check what streets were closed when you could clearly see Luckie street was shut down. Took us about 30+ min to catch a ride to the airport and we had to stand in the back at The Yard.
